September Whereabouts
Hummelstown Arts Festival takes place on September 15 from 9:00-4:00 along the main street of Hummelstown. This will be metalledwith’s first time at this event and location information is not released to vendors prior to the day of the show, so we’ll be posting on 9/15!
Mother Earth Harvest Fair will be held on September 23 from 10:00-5:00 in Glen Rock, PA (southern York County). We visited this event last year to hear a bluegrass band and found miniature horses, beekeeping presentations, real-life farmers and a variety of other down to earth people doing what they do best. The subtitle to this event is “A Celebration of Sustainable Living & Healthy Local Solutions.” This is not a fine art show, this, dear readers, will be a day at the farm. Don’t forget your muck boots.
Harvest of the Arts will be on September 29 from 10:00-5:00 in Carlisle, PA. This is its 31st year (and our second in attendance). Check out their website to see when performers go on and all that is offered. We’ve been visiting with a few of our artists friends and are pleased to hear many will be there!
