Farmers Market

May 27, 2011

Some exciting events are taking place. Last night metalledwith attended the Farmers Market in Hershey for the first time. We’ve decided that we’re going to become regulars there throughout 2011. We’ll be there every other week through October 2011. This beautiful outdoor market takes place under a large sycamore tree in a grassy field. It’s a small gathering of local farmers, chefs, artisan cheese makers, winemakers, hot saucers, alfalfa yarners, beekeepers, bakers, butchers and yours truly.  Come out to get the freshest of fresh food while putting funds back in to our local economy. While you’re shopping for tonight’s dinner, stop by and have a chat about that custom piece you know would be perfect for [you, your mother, nephew, third cousin twice removed]. It’s no secret that metalledwith enjoys creating special one-of-a-kind pieces, and the market is an opportunity to talk one-on-one with the artist. This market has a true community feel that must be experienced for its contrast to standard shopping.
